Old Fire House Mug

I’m totally open to a different name for this mug, but this deep red clay makes me think of an old firehouse.  I tried a new technique of spraying wood ash from a fire place on the side to hint at wood firing similarities.  The interaction it had with the glazes were so cool.  approx. 10oz.
